Assignment: Sometimes the problem is not that your audience doesn't know you, it's that they think they do. Minuteman Press of Cambridge had a market perception issue – they offered innovative printing solutions but were being pigeonholed as simply a copy shop.

Rain launched a full-scale initiative including research, a new name, Ambit Press, (from “ambit” meaning a sphere of action, and influence) and a fresh look to reposition them in the market. Other initiatives included logo, tagline, marketing materials, web site, and environmental design for their lobby.

Results: Ambit Press is now reaching the desired market with key messaging that reinforces their enterprise-centric offerings and highlights their capabilities. And, most important, the sales team is now getting an audience with executives that they previously couldn't access as Minuteman Press.
